What a Day!

July 4, 2008 is in the books with memories of a huge crowd and chamber of commerce weather. The high point was the laid back fun at Brooks Field following the parade with kites, Frisbees, Mad Mountain Scramblers playing some great tunes and kids having a blast with organized games, sack races, face painting, paper hat making, and more.  Oh, and the parade was great too! A few changes in store for next year like the return of the Air National Guard fly-by among other things.  Have a great summer.

Perfect Day Planned

Chamber of Commerce weather, floats, food, music, fun and fireworks.  Could there be a Air National Guard fly by this year? We’ll just have to see! Get to town early, and stake out your spot. Wear your colors, wacky hats and face paint.   All donations at the gate go to support the event. No one is paid to produce the day’s festivities. Give generously if you love the 4^th! We’ll see you there on Friday, with 7,000 of your closest friends!
