If you would like to put together a float, a statement, or somehow support the theme of “It’s Easy Being Green”, get cracking!  No registration is required, you simply show up by 8:30am on July 4 on Main Street, south of the Warren Covered Bridge and you will be placed in line. It’s FUN and it’s EASY!  Wave to 7000 of your closest friends along the parade route, promote your cause, your business, your patriotism. Come one, come all!

Buddy Badges are Here

Words cannot describe how happy I am that the Buddy Badges are here. I have 2 sets of randomly numbered badges 1-3500.  Buy your buddy badge at the gate for $1 (any overpayment warmly accepted and donated to offset the July 4 expenses) and look for your matching number in the crowd. Click here http://www.warren4thofjuly.com/buddybadge.htm  to view last year’s prize arsenal. The week prior to July 4 we will post the 2009 list of prizes.  Thank you Minute Man Press for saving me countless hours of tractor-feed printing of numbers!

Float Builders are Beginning to Call

While folks don’t need to “register” a float, I am getting some interesting calls from folks about floats they would like to bring. With the theme of “It’s Easy Being Green”, Tim and the folks at Yes Wee Cabin will be bringing a self-sustaining cabin through town in the parade. These are cool, affordable little houses that are custom built. Check them out here: www.YesWeeCabins.com  Tell them Warren 4th sent you!  When I get more details about the train car planning to chug along the parade route, I will post info…
