What is a BUDDY BADGE?

Conceived for the 4th of July 2002, the Buddy Badge was started as way to give everyone present a chance to donate to the 4th and win great prizes.

Buddy Badges cost $1 each and you can buy as many as you like and stick them all over yourself if you want. The simple idea is that there are thousands of badges with a large black number printed on them. They are randomly distributed to each of the 3 gates entering Warren Village. Your goal is to find your 'Buddy' or matching number.

You simply come to Warren Village in the morning, buy 1, 2, or 10 buddy badges; display them prominently and start looking for your match. Once you find your 'Buddy', run to the Gazebo together and claim your prize. Prizes are given out in order of highest value to lowest and all disputes are settled by the awarding official...
